Beautiful Weddings at Burnt Orange
Housed in a historic sandstone mansion in Mosman, Burnt Orange is a boutique venue that will set your wedding apart.
With two uniquely beautiful spaces and a range of packages available, we can host weddings for up to 160 people for a seated dinner on the upstairs Balcony or up to 80 people for a cocktail event with roaming drinks and canapes on the lower level of the venue. For a smaller more intimate wedding, our Signals Room is a stunning location with an outdoor sandstone terrace overlooking the harbour. For larger weddings, our iconic space, the Balcony, offers sweeping views over Middle Head and Chowder Bay. With our secluded location and bushland surrounds, it’s hard to believe how close we are to Sydney’s CBD.

We had our wedding reception at Burnt Orange in November 2019 and it was utterly superb! It was the first and only venue we visited; we didn’t need to go anywhere else. Tabitha, Kevin and the team were so helpful, flexible and took the time to understand what we wanted and worked with us in great detail to make it happen. Many guests said it was up there with the best weddings they’ve been to, and I know that’s in large part due to how attentive the staff on the night were, how delicious the food was, what great ambience the venue has, and how fabulously Tabitha does what she does. Our whole-venue booking worked so well: starting downstairs with canapés and then moving to the upstairs balcony, with the lounge also available as a space for guests who wanted space or didn’t fancy dancing to relax and talk.

They were amazing, we had to change our venue with three months to go and they made it so easy! The staff were incredibly well trained, food was impeccable, wine was brilliant, venue was so beautiful! The difference between Burnt Orange and other places was that the wines here were still very high quality even if we got a cheaper package, and they would be matched perfectly with the menu. They would have a Michelin Star Chef making our food too!! It was just amazing, they were so flexible when we needed changes to the guest numbers, and we were able to put the money towards other things as well. The venue was just great, we dealt with Tabatha mainly and she was just wonderful! They were able to accommodate for all our different suppliers, our 6 piece band especially, and were just absolutely fantastic with all that! We were really really lucky to have gotten them for our day!

On the 15th April 2018 we celebrated our wedding at Burnt Orange at Mosman. The Signals room with its sandstone terrace was a great location for our small and relaxed wedding. The casual seating and bush and harbour views added a great atmosphere to the occasion. From the first time we met the staff we felt we were with friends. The food and drink was excellent and served cocktail style meant that everyone could move around to chat and enjoy. For Sandra and I, it was a night to remember and Burnt Orange was the perfect location.
